We are slowly getting back into the swing of things... can't believe it's
been a while since we visited... both of us were quite sick initially on our
return and are finally finding our feet again. John is still busy editing
all the tapes from the trip, never having done something like this
before it is taking him some time.
- Wondered if I had written to thank you and
your team at all? If I didn't please forgive me for this oversight,
better late than never.

planning our itinerary and for assuring our uncertainties. All this resulted

Daniel,
It’s now a couple of days since we returned from our African safari
experience. Everyone at work is punishing me with lots of work (very busy)
having been away for a week to Kenya. I guess they are envious for such a
wonderful and successful 7 day Kenya safari.
Just to let you know, we must thank you for arranging for us such a great
trip, we refresh on our experience daily having being our first trip in
Africa. Our tour was excellent, and everything was handled very
professionally. Godfrey, our guide, did an exceptional job helping us have
the best game viewing and shots. He is a real professional and must be
African Sermon Safaris asset that you cannot afford to lose.
You really differentiate yourselves by giving
attention to detail, personal service and discretionary effort. We are
considering saving some money for our next trip with you, hopefully in a
couple of months. Just keep us updated and we will surely recommend you to
everyone we know.

I'm sorry it's taken me so long to send you this message, but since having
returned from Kenya and Uganda, my office has been very busy – I guess they
are either punishing me for having gone away or they just missed me a lot --
I haven't decided which yet!
I wanted to send a note of thanks to you and Godfrey -- I had the most
exciting and amazing time on the three days I spent with African Sermon
Safaris. I never imagined that I would be able to spend time at Masai Mara
and be so close to the wildlife, until this point, I have only seen in zoos
or on TV. There was just something about Kenya -- I couldn't stop
looking outside and just wanted to continue to look out across the Rift
Valley, through the brush, at the Masai camps, everything!
You and Godfrey took such exceptional care of me and I truly thank you both
for making this the most wonderful adventure. I am sure Godfrey
mentioned to you that we had a minor breakdown on the way back to Nairobi,
but even that was the most special of moments for me. While waiting
for him to get the van fixed, I was able to have a nice long chat with some
of the people local to the area and we shared stories about where I lived,
politics, religion, etc. I even parted with some books and magazines
that were of interest to them.
Again, thank you -- I promised to send some pictures that you may be able to
use in promoting your business and I will put them in the mail tomorrow.
I've just been reviewing them and there are some really good shots (even if
I am complimenting myself!).
I also wanted to let you know that the camp (Ilkeliani Camp) you set up for
me was just amazing. The staff and the tents were all top-notch and
quite luxurious. I was impressed with the fact that they don't use
generators and operate on solar power -- also, the tent sites were
spectacular and I just missed seeing a hippo run down into the water in the
morning. I highly recommend you use this camp again in the future.
I'll be recommending you to anybody I know that is headed to Kenya for a
safari -- you can be sure, if I ever have the opportunity to come back, I
will be contacting you and Godfrey!

We really had a marvelous time in Kenya,
precisely Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Samburu, Mount Kenya and Amboseli. All
the way from arrival to our departure, we felt like we were with our old
friends - truly hospitable people. I have told everyone about this safari.
The food was great, the accommodations terrific and the sights amazing.

Daniel,
I would like to tell you, that the 5 of us from Denmark had a very big
experience in visiting Kenya and trekking on Mount Kenya. As told we all had
a great experience. For some of us it was probably the biggest in our lives.
In fact we all dream about returning soon, and most of us would like to
climb the mountain again. But we would also like to have some time to see
more wild animals. Of course, it was our own decision from the beginning.
Everything was perfect. It was a very big gesture of you to wait for so many
hours in the Airport. Asante again. Everything and everyone was very
precise. And any delays was only made because of us. Everybody in the crew
at the mountain was very professional. The food was outstanding considering
the circumstances. And it was made to prevent bad stomachs. People were
kind, laughing and we all felt as friends. It was very nice too.
The young man Bo was sick on the morning when we
left Nairobi, and Godfrey was concerned about him. But he got better while
he was sleeping during most of the flight. Astrid was not afraid of flying
back. I saw half of Africa through the window in the plane. It was great
too.
Please give my regards and say Asante to all, you meet. Godfrey, Robin,
Joseph and the porters.

I will send a small article to the biggest Danish Sunday newspaper to tell
